The name Druid is Celtic for “the very knowing or wise one”. The Druids had great respect for all of Nature, and would not touch a living thing with a sharpened blade. Their knowledge is believed to have preceeded even the Chinese or the Indians according to some scholars. They carried their skill in healing with them when they traveled to Europe, Egypt, China and beyond.
"To them was entrusted the charge of religion, jurisprudence, and medicine. They certainly well studied the book of Nature, were acquainted with the marvels of natural magic, the proportions of plants and herbs, and what of astronomy was then known; they may even have been skilled in mesmerism and biology" - Windele (Kilkenny Records)

This is then shared with others so that they too may be helped. Many methods to use herbs for enhanching health have come and gone, while others have resurfaced with newfound popularity after decades or perhaps even hundreds of years absence. The endless enchantment with our green allies moves onward...
